WHAT IS A MOBILE TIP JAR?

A mobile tip jar is a digital application on your phone that allows a fan to send a band a virtual tip for their hard work. All you have to do is find the band you want to tip, select the amount you want to send, link your credit/debit card, and send!

 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

FREE! Everyone can download and be a part of the new music scene! www.bandaide.com/download There are no membership dues, no contracts or sign up fees and credit card required to sign up. When a band receives a tip, twenty percent is collected by BANDAIDE INC with a net 80% transferred directly to the band’s designated account. So a band can literally play a show and have been money right after!

Connecting in with Facebook allows BANDAIDE to customize your experience.
You may also sign up with email.

 

HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?
Go into the app, click the link on the login screen that says “Help! I forgot my password!” and a reset link will be sent to the email address on file for your account.

 

ARE THE TIPS VIEWABLE PUBLICLY?

No. Each band is able to see a total for the tips they have received on the My Account screen. Only the band receiving the top number of tips and the fan giving the top number of tips are viewable on the trending screen.

 

I AM A CONCERT VENUE. CAN I SIGN UP?

At this point, we do not have a specific setup for venues but are discussing it for future rollouts.

 

WHY DOES THE APP ASK FOR LOCATION PERMISSION?

BANDAIDE customizes the bands shown in the Map View and the Near Me view by your location. You may opt out of location services when the app prompts you.

 

WHAT’S ON TAP FOR FUTURE ROLLOUTS?

The upgrades we have planned are exciting! Many doors are opening. But we really haven’t planned any enhancements at this point except structure upgrades to handle more traffic, or reduce overhead expenses. It’s important to the BANDAIDE team to listen to the bands and fans think of it. What they find awesome and not so awesome, what would make it better, more functional or more friendly. Then, after we have sufficient feedback, then we can start to plan our next destination.

HOW CAN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?

You may delete your account by loging in, heading to the My Account page, scrolling all the way down to the link where it says “Delete My Account”. Hopefully not though!
